Who needs a driving license?
The person driving needs a valid license and photo ID. A passenger who does not drive does not need a driving license, but still has to meet the passenger age requirement. Do not book extra vehicles unless you have enough eligible drivers.
The buggies are automatic and the guide explains the operation. An automatic gearbox does not remove the license requirement. The excursion follows a guided route; this is not an unrestricted road rental.
Traveling with teenagers
The minimum passenger age is 11. A teenager aged 11–17 can participate as a passenger, not as a driver. A four-seat buggy does not waive that rule for younger children.
Each person occupies a seat and uses the supplied seat belt. Choose sufficient capacity for the whole group, then enter accurate ages when booking. Do not place two people in one seat.
Information to prepare for checkout
For groups of up to ten, the form asks for each passenger's age; larger groups provide an age summary. Up to five buggies require each driver's name and age. Larger fleets provide a lead driver initially and complete the roster during coordination.
Confirm the vehicle mix yourself. Changing the guest count requires you to check the fleet again. Before payment, review the date, pickup location, number of buggies and total.
- Check the youngest participant's age
- Count eligible drivers, not just passengers
- Bring each driver's original travel documents as required above
