Your buggy, explained
Single Buggy
Automatic transmission, seat belts and a safety helmet. Follow your guide in a shared convoy; your selected buggy is reserved for your group. Model and color may vary. Gallery photos show the experience, not a guaranteed vehicle model.
Best for
Solo travelers who want to drive the entire route without sharing a seat or switching drivers.
- One automatic buggy reserved for one person
- You remain the driver throughout the guided route
- The lowest total price: US$50
- Complete cave, countryside and Macao Beach experience
What you will do
One outing, four unforgettable moments
A complete off-road experience—not just a vehicle rental. The order can change for traffic, weather and safety.
- 01
Hotel pickup & ranch welcome
Shared transport brings you from an eligible hotel or assigned meeting point to the ranch for registration and a safety briefing.
- 02
Drive the Macao backroads
Follow your local route leader along rural tracks. Expect dust in dry weather and plenty of mud after rain—getting dirty is part of it.
- 03
Dominican countryside stop
Visit a traditional Dominican home or ranch to learn about coffee, cacao, tobacco and mamajuana, their preparation and local traditions. Operator-provided tastings are part of the stop; purchases are optional and alcoholic products are for adults only.
- 04
Freshwater cave & Macao Beach
At the freshwater cave you can cool off or stay out of the water: swimming is optional. Take care on the steps and follow staff instructions; jumping is neither promised nor required. At Macao Beach there is time to walk on the sand, enjoy the scenery and take photos. Sea swimming depends on the surf and guide instructions. The order of stops may vary.

Single, double or family buggy: what does it cost?
US$50 buys one single buggy for one guest. US$60 buys one double for up to two guests; US$120 buys one family buggy for up to four. The US$30 per-person figure applies when a double or family vehicle is full. An empty seat does not reduce the vehicle price.
| Buggy | Seats | Total per vehicle | Choose this buggy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single Buggy | 1 | US$50 | Choose this buggy |
| Double Buggy | 2 | US$60 | Choose this buggy |
| Family Buggy | 4 | US$120 | Choose this buggy |
Booking for five people: two clear examples
Five guests in five single buggies pay US$250. Five guests in two doubles and one single pay US$170. You choose and confirm the quantities; changing the number of guests requires a new confirmation. Every guest needs a seat and every vehicle needs an eligible driver. A family buggy and a single also total US$170, with two drivers rather than three.

Clear experience conditions
Read the rules that affect your booking, vehicle and participation.
Cancellation and no-show+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start. Within 24 hours, late arrival or no-show: non-refundable. If the operator cancels for weather, safety or breakdown, choose another date or receive a full refund.
Buggies and drivers+
Buggies are automatic, have seat belts and include a safety helmet. Model and color can vary, so photos represent the category. Two licensed drivers aged 18+ may switch only at an authorized stop.
Freshwater Taino cave+
Admission is included. Depth varies and swimming is optional; you do not need to swim to complete the tour. Non-swimmers must tell the guide and stay out or use only the designated area. Life jackets, changing rooms and toilets inside the cave are not guaranteed.
Damage and breakdowns+
No online damage deposit is collected. Normal mechanical failure is the operator's responsibility. The driver is responsible for proven damage caused by collision, racing, overtaking, leaving the route or ignoring instructions. Report existing damage before departure.
Rain and conditions+
The tour normally operates in sun or rain, and rain means more mud. Only the operator may change or cancel for unsafe storms, flooding, surf or trail conditions. Stop order and timing may vary.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Everything travelers ask before booking
Clear answers now mean fewer surprises on the day of your adventure.
Is the price per person or buggy?+

Do I need a driver's license?+

Where is pickup included?+
Bávaro, Punta Cana, Cabeza de Toro, Macao, Cap Cana and Uvero Alto. Exact point and time follow after booking.
What about an Airbnb?+
Enter the full name and address. We assign a nearby accessible point when transport cannot enter.

Tours usually continue with more mud. The operator changes or cancels only when conditions are unsafe.

No. Independent photographers may sell optional packages; agree on the total price first.
Is food included?+
No food or drinks are included. The cultural stop offers tastings, not a full meal.
Must I know how to swim?+
No. Cave swimming is optional. Tell the guide if you cannot swim and stay out or only in the designated area.
Can pregnant travelers join?+
No. Bumps, vibration and sudden movement make this activity unsuitable during pregnancy.

Old dark clothes, swimsuit, closed or water shoes with grip, bandana, glasses, towel and a complete change.

Not necessarily. It is shared and may collect guests at other hotels.
