Punta Cana Buggy Tour: Prices, Pickup & What to Expect
A buggy excursion is easier to book when you know exactly what you are buying. This guide covers our shared Macao route, the freshwater cave and Macao Beach, with the same vehicle prices used at checkout.
Single, double or family buggy: what does it cost?
US$50 buys one single buggy for one guest. US$60 buys one double for up to two guests; US$120 buys one family buggy for up to four. The US$30 per-person figure applies when a double or family vehicle is full. An empty seat does not reduce the vehicle price.

Booking for five people: two clear examples
Five guests in five single buggies pay US$250. Five guests in two doubles and one single pay US$170. You choose and confirm the quantities; changing the number of guests requires a new confirmation. Every guest needs a seat and every vehicle needs an eligible driver. A family buggy and a single also total US$170, with two drivers rather than three.
How much driving, cave and beach time is included?
Allow about four hours including shared transportation. The route and stops normally last 2.5–3 hours, with 45–75 minutes of accumulated driving, 20–30 minutes at the cave and 20–40 minutes at Macao Beach. This is a guided convoy, not a self-guided buggy rental. Mud and dust depend on the weather; neither deep mud nor a particular vehicle model is guaranteed. Cave swimming is optional and sea swimming depends on surf and guide instructions.
Hotel pickup: what to enter before paying
Our published coverage includes Bávaro, Punta Cana, Cabeza de Toro, Macao, Cap Cana and Uvero Alto. Enter the exact accommodation and an active WhatsApp number. Tour starts are 08:30, 10:30 and 14:30; shared pickup normally begins 60–90 minutes earlier. Your exact time and authorized meeting point are confirmed after booking. Airbnb guests may use a nearby accessible point. Do not assume reception is the pickup point until you receive instructions.
Who can join and what should you bring?
Drivers must be 18 or older with a valid license and photo ID. Passengers must be at least 11 and each occupies a seat. Wear clothes that may stain, shoes with grip and bring a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes and waterproof phone pouch. Bandanas and protective glasses are recommended; do not assume optional accessories or professional photos are included. The activity is unsuitable during pregnancy or for serious back, neck or heart conditions.
What happens after booking?
Choose your date and vehicles, enter traveler details and pay securely with Stripe. Your paid reservation receives confirmation; our team coordinates the pickup details afterward. Cancellation in writing more than 24 hours before the scheduled start receives a full refund. Within 24 hours, late arrival and no-show are non-refundable. An operator cancellation offers another date or a full refund.
